Christmas Scrapbook page
Hi Everyone,
I hope you had a Very Merry Christmas! Here is a scrapbook page I put together in maybe 2 minutes. If you haven't tried our Simply Scrappin' kits, you MUST! They make scrap-booking faster and easier. No need to be Miss Crafty on every page. These make pages look cuter than ever while allowing you to see progress without the feeling of spending hours on just one layout. You'll be able to look back at a whole group of memories and cherish these pages forever. I look at my scrapbooks all the time - I just love them! Oh, and journal, journal, journal ladies. These are the memories you'll read 10 years from now and just adore. If you don't like your hand writing just type something up and print it off. Just remember though - no matter how ugly you think your hand writing is, someone does and will cherish it one day!!!

Something So Simple
These are Christmas treats for Nicolas's teachers at his morning church program. Just simple tags to candy treat bags yet it makes such a difference. It gives it more of a homemade feel and is much cuter than just the bags. I just used the Deer Friends set (available as a hostess set until January 18th!!), used markers to stamp different colors on each image, and then punched out the images with my 1 1/4" circle punch. Then I chose a coordinating color and used my scallop circle punch for a cute background. Easy Easy Easy and so cute! Merry Christmas everyone!
Love,

Craft Fair Goodies
I'm getting ready for the Santa's Arts and Crafts Village craft fair this Saturday. It is at Warrenton United Methodist church from 9am to 3pm. There are so beautiful crafters that come every year so I hope you come check it out. Here are two framed projects I will be selling. The Peace Joy Love Cheer image is actually a Big Shot die and I used the beautiful Ski Slope paper with it. The second frame is using the Season of Friendship stamp set which I am in love with! This is actually a birthday present for a dear friend of mine and I thought it might go over well at the craft fair too! Off to make a few more of each of these. I'll post more as I make them!

A CUTE Christmas card and some BIG Shot samples
I hope everyone had a nice Halloween! I wanted to share some recent projects with you. We did this really cute ornament card at a workshop this weekend and will make it at my Stampers Ten clubs this month. I was so excited when I found this sample - I couldn't wait to make it and show everyone! It uses one of my favorite new accessories, felt flurries (I live the felt flowers too) as well as rhinestone brads. I think it turned out well. The circle is attached at once side so that it will open up like a card. You could also punch a hole at the top with ribbon and include a photo for cute homemade ornaments.
The other samples are using die cuts from the new Big Shot Sizzix, which I love. It is so easy to use and easy to carry around to wherever I need to use it or show it. The pillow box makes for a cute gift card holder (as long as it's one of the smaller gift cards) or a treat box. The top note die I've used with cards and then with this little "Get Well" book we made at one of my Stampers Ten clubs. A friend of theirs has not been feeling well so we put our stamps to good use! It is put together with a large flower brad so you can swivel and see all the get well messages. This is a great heartfelt gift for anyone! You have to come try out my Sizzix - it's super easy and such a great crafting tool!
Happy Stamping!

Welcome!
Hello Everyone!
I am finally putting together my Blog. It is a work in progress right now but I wanted a place to post all the projects I've been working on for presents, gifts, workshops, classes and displays. I will upload pictures of what I'm working on so you all will be able to come here and get ideas whenever you'd like. This is easier than posting everything to my Stampin Up website. I will use that to keep track of my monthly workshops, specials, etc. so please still keep it in your bookmarks. This will just be my main source of sharing projects with you. Email me at us3rhodes@yahoo.com any time with suggestions or even projects you've been working on that I can share with everyone. I will post any pictures of customer projects I receive and give you full credit of course when I post to this blog! So, start sharing all your cool ideas with me!! To start off , here are some projects from the summer I worked on as gifts for birthdays and a baby shower! Stay tuned for more!
Love,
April
